This gift for communicating directly where needed most has made the Adjutant a trusted ally and lieutenant of the Grand Marshal as the reorganization of the House of Swords has taken place over the last few years. The Marshal has been very instrumental in the Adjutant securing a power base and the possibility of acquiring the Marshal’s villainous resources when he successfully retires. Multiple premium secret lairs, vast fleets of villainous vessels, and legions of personal minions outside the House of Swords purview. All of this along with a healthy amount of wealth to maintain it. The Grand Marshal’s entire personal empire in need of a caretaker and heir. The years of the Adjutant playing number two are finally going to pay off.
